Deleted file is still searchable

  I am attempting to remove a file from my website. I went into my media library and selected ‘permanently delete’ so it is no longer available through the webpage directly. I can, however, still get to the file through a google search. WordPress mentioned that it may still be available for a few days, but this is two weeks later. What am I missing?

  Please provide a link to that file so we can remove it from our CDN network.
