  I have deleted a file from my account but it still shows up in a search. It was an old resume that I don’t want floating around out there. This is the link:

  and if you google search my name and resume, this is what shows up: http://bit.ly/28MCcbe
  How can I permanently delete this…I thought that’s what I had done.

  Hi @brandiebee – You will have to get in touch with Google to have this removed from their index. Normally, it takes 4-6 weeks for something to fall off the Google Index. Here is the WordPress.com support guide for Search Engines and the request form that you will need to submit to Google: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals
