Deleted home file, error message

    I keep getting this message

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, (email visible only to moderators and staff) and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    When I try to access any pages from my dashboard. I accidentally deleted a home.html file in my root file folder. I think that’s why I’m getting the message? How do I retreuve the home file or create a new one? Thanks

    Hi there,
    That site is not hosted by WordPress.COM and we do not provide support for it. It is a WordPress.ORG software install and you need to contact your web host or post to the WordPress.ORG support forums.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.     If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

    I am really confused. Why do I have registration emails being sent to me from WordPress.com then? I don’t understand.

    Probably because you installed Jetpack.

    I reiterate: that’s a WordPress.ORG blog, not a WordPress.COM blog, and you need to be in their forums for help with that version of the software. We cannot help you here.
