How can I restore my "home" page?

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello and thank you for your help in advance!

I – by accident – deleted the “home” (first welcome) page on “erkenntnisfreiheit.wordpress.com”.
The “home” button is still visible in the site navigation-bar,
but I can’t add any texts, articles or photos anymore because
all the features disappeared. On top, I couldn’t find the deleted
page in the trash and therefore couldn’t restore it.
Now, I the opener page is empty and I can’t add anything.
I don’t want to indicate another page as opener page, either.

What can I do? Can you please help me – thank you!!

    Hi there,

From what I can see, your “home page” isn’t empty. Our settings automatically designate your “home page” as your posts page, unless you assign it otherwise. It appears that you currently have two posts on your “home page.”

If you would like to change your home page to a static front page, you can do so by following the directions available here:

    Set the Homepage
