Deleted images from media library not realising it deletes in posts too – HELP!

    hi there – deleted images from my media library not realising that it deletes images from the posts too.
    How do I ‘undo’ this stupid rookie mistake?
    Help!!!

    Just checked. Your latest post seems to be OK.
    Anyways, you can upload that image again, and fix the link (on the post—replacing the old reference with the new one)

    Deleted posts can be recovered from the trash, but images deleted from your Media Library are immediately gone for good. If you have copies they will have to be re-uploaded and re-installed on a post by post basis I’m afraid. That looks like being a lot of work.
