Deleted images on a page
-
I was trying to upload new images to one of the pages on my blog. WordPress asked me if I wanted to use the new ‘blocks’ format and when I chose that it eliminated all the existing images on the page. and I cannot go back to the old page. Is there any way for me to retrieve the old page and have things back to the way they were? My blog is joanelliott.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @joanelliott, we can help you sort this out. Can you tell us the name of the post or page you were working on?

Thank you!. If you can restore the page images I would be so grateful!
Here is the link to the page:

Hi there,
Edit the page, here:
https://wordpress.com/block-editor/page/joanelliott.wordpress.com/1603
If you don’t see the settings bar on the right, click the gear icon to open it, make sure it’s on “Document”, and then click on Revisions.
There you’ll see all the saved versions of the page that we have. To restore your image gallery, go back to the November 28 version of the page. Click the Load button at the bottom, and update the page, and things should be back the way they were.
It would be great if you can give us more information on how this happened, though. Normally if you open an existing post/page in the block editor, it should just have all your content as-is in the Classic block. But looking at your post it appears that instead all your content were converted into a bunch of different blocks, i.e. each paragraph became its own paragraph block, the gallery was converted to a gallery block, etc.
Can you please tell us, if you remember, the exact steps that you followed, so we can try and replicate this on our end. This type of thing should ideally not happen, and we need to know how to make it happen in order to figure out how to fix it :)
