Deleted Media File still appearing online

    I have deleted media content (a PDF file) and it is still appearing online. I would like to permanently remove this but the media library is empty in my account however when searched through search engines, it still appears.

    What did you mean when you said you searched through search engines?

    The file may still be accessible from your browser if it’s cached. Please clear the browser cache (or try from another browser) and see if the file is still accessible. Once you remove something from media library, it shouldn’t be accessible anymore.

    Search engines may still have the file (or the relevant post) indexed, but visitors should not be able to view the file or download it since it’s no longer there (you deleted it).
