Deleted Media still accessible through Google Search.
-
I put up a post a few months back and deleted it but it is still showing on Google search and the PDF is accessible through wordpress.com.files/myusername, i.e. https://bucktonsite.files.wordpress.com/2017/07/**************.pdf. When I found it was still up I tried deleting the PDF from my media library but to no avail. It still is accessible to the public which I do not want. Is there anyway to get WP to delete this PDF from the servers?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Good morning!
Thanks for contacting us! I found some info relevant to your situation at the following support site: https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/. There’s some extra tips you can take to see if it will help to prevent your info from coming up in the search engines.
Thanks and hope this helps! :)
PS: I’ve added a modlook tag to this thread as well so that a staff member can check and see if there’s anything they can do about your PDF.

Hi itsworsethanieverimagined,
bucktonsite.wordpress.com is a deleted site containing no PDFs or posts. The content appearing in search results is a copy Google has created, which is something we have no control over. However, you can make a request for Google to remove them from search results using the Remove Outdated Content tool:
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals
Be sure to add the URL copied from Google’s search results rather than the original post or file hosted on WordPress.com.
If you are still seeing a file when visiting the PDF link, please try clearing your browser cache. It sounds like you may be seeing a cached version of the file there.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
