Deleted media still showing up

I accidentally posted something that was copywrited, and I was informed about it. The original post has been deleted, and I deleted the material from the media library, but it is still showing up online.
The owner of the material sent me the link below, and when you click on it the document in question still shows up. What should I be doing that I’m not doing? How can it truly be deleted permanently?

To keep things running quickly around here, files are held in multiple caches through a separate system. These caches are usually cleared within 3 days and the files will then become 404 page not found.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting public blogs and/or blog content from them does not remove indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results after it produces a 404 (page not found):

Hi @mshjeffers, it looks like it was still in cache. I’ve cleared that and it should be gone now if you refresh. Let us know if you need more help!
