Deleted my account by mistake

    I have been very flustered developing a website all on my own. I’m not incredibly techie but know some basics. Took on this challenge 2 weeks ago and have been so frustrated ever since. I change domains a couple days in as my work told me I couldn’t have ‘realty’ in my domain name. I’ve switched over my old career email system to them new one deleting all emails from that system which was stupid as it included the WordPress purchase conformation info it claims I need. And now I believe I deleted my account which I didn’t mean to do I thought I was deleting my old website and it seems I deleted the whole damn thing, meanwhile I’ve paid for it and now can’t access it!
    I can see it on bluehost but not on WordPress, says account is deactivated. Now what??
    I have proof of purchase on my credit card statement. Does that work? I can show you my bluehost website builder and tell you all the details of the website? Help!! Please!!

    Can you tell me the URL of the site you need help with? And what exactly did you delete/what is the email address connected to the purchase you mention?

    To clarify a few things – the forum you’re posting in now is for WordPress.com. We’re a hosting provider, like Bluehost, and not the same thing as the WordPress software you’re using over there.

    Your site at Bluehost has no connection at all to us on WordPress.com. You can link that site to your WordPress.com account using a plugin called Jetpack. That will give you access to some WordPress.com-specific features, like site stats and blog subscriptions, and will allow you to manage some aspects of your site from our end. But it’s completely up to you whether or not you want to use Jetpack.

    The only scenario where you would have paid us for anything related to the site, is if you both used Jetpack, and then upgraded to a paid Jetpack plan. Otherwise the company you’re paying for your site is Bluehost, not us.

    For help accessing your admin dashboard for the site, or with the Bluehost website builder, you’ll need to contact Bluehost support directly, as we have no control over or access to that.
