Deleted my blog.

I haven’t used WordPress in quite sometime and wanted to clean up my blog at 4 am. (Bad idea). I ended up deleting my blog thinking it’d be easier than individually deleting each post, but didn’t realize I wouldn’t be able to use the same domain name. Is there anything I can do to get that domain back?

Sites already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts. Do you see a deleted site https://deletedexample1234.wordpress.com/ with an address you would like to have? You can try registering a new site with that address here. http://wordpress.com/start If it is available, it will be yours.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated there.
You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
