Deleted My Blog Page

  I was editing my site and wanted my home page to be where my blog would show up. Stupid me instead of changing the pages I deleted the blog by accident and moved what was on my home page to The Ministry. Now I have nothing on my home page I still have my blog in the archives. How do I get it to show up on the home page with the right title of the blog above it. I know I sound confused and I know it is simple but can not figure it out

  Just post something else as a regular blog post. Looks like The Ministry is a static page. Make a normal POST, not a page, and you have the option of putting the entry page there or on some static page like The Ministry as you prefer.

  Thank you so much for your help. I want the post to be on the home page. The ministry page has something on it already. What does the static page need to be then the post page need to be.

  Make your post first. Then, under Settings, change your setting to make sure it is not a static page. That will make it the regular blog posts.

  Ok I have done that now the post is the main page but I need it connected to the Home on the sidebar what do I do now.

  Well, you need to put some content in there.

  You’ve got two choices with a blog: you can have a static page as your entry page, like an About Us or Rules of Engagement, or you can have the blog itself be the entry page. The blog itself is always dynamic; the most recent post will be on top.

  It’s just up to you if you want people always to see the same thing or if you want them to see the blog. A static page as entry page will slaughter your Search Engine Optimization, btw.

  I think I will do that raincoaster but what if I wanted connected to the home page as well because I want people always to get back to it if they would like

  Put the Page widget in the sidebar.

  Ok got the posts as the main page now I need to put home in the sidebar I went to edit pages I just type home page in there
