Deleted my Blog/Site by mistake to start over

  Hi,
  I deleted my xxx.wordpress.com by mistake thinking that I will reset and start over. Now it says that: xxx.wordpress.com is no longer available and while creating one it says sorry, the site already exists.

  I want to have that subdomain working again. How to do that?

  I’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify excatly where it is hosted. Please do that now.

  The authors have deleted this site.

  Recovering or registering any deleted blog URL is not possible. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and it must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click. Once the verification link for deletion is clicked the blog URL is forever gone, gone, gone.

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

  My blog name was http://pratyushphotography.wordpress.com. I am more interested in the name pratyushphotography. Is there any way to get it back.

  You can of course do as I said above:
  1. register similar sub-domain like http://pratyushphotos.wordpress.com
  2. purchase domain mapping upgrade
