deleted my site to start over, now the subdomain is not available

  i deleted my site because i wanted to start over, now when i go back to re-create it, the subdomain is not available, it was a free site. can i have the actual subdomain site back, with the 8 numbers following the subdomain name?

  As clearly stated several times during the process of deleting “Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address”.
