deleted pages still show up in header
-
I am new to this and I created some pages in my blog, but couldn’t figure out what to do with them, so I deleted them. But now, sometimes when I pull up the main page, the names of the deleted pages show up in the header. But when you click on them it gives you a 404 error.
How do I make them go away?

It’s possible that you are seeing a cached version but let’s start here. In this case it would really help if you posted a link to your blog or, better still, linked your username to it. Then we could see what you mean.
how to link your username to your profile and blogWhen you go here -> Manage -> Pages do you see numbers for deleted pages?
When you look at the front of your blog do you see numbers or titles? After you reload your browser does anything change?

Sorry, I’m really new to this.
This is the site.http://duncanfamily.wordpress.com/
When at look at the front – it does show titles – but they aren’t there now. Only when I’m going through the different posts and then sometimes the deleted pages show up on the top (the deleted pages are Caroline’s page and Main page)

I see what you mean. Go here and delete them again -> Manage -> Pages
