Deleted pages still showing up

  I deleted some pages, but they are still showing up. I have logged out and logged back in, cleared my browser cache, tried a different browser… and they still show up in the page tabs at the top. When the tab links are clicked, the page shows a 404 error. How do I make sure that they don’t show up anymore? I don’t want to show the 404 error – I want to not show the pages at all.

  Hi there,

  You’ve got a custom menu set up, which is still pointing to the pages. You’ll need to update that with only the correct pages in place. You can do so by going right here:

  https://staceyredick.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php

  Once you remove them, click save and the menu will be showing correctly!
