Deleted photo showing in face book post.

  Hi,
  I have an issue with a photo on one of my posts. Th first time I shared the post on facebook, the image was cropped too tightly, so i removed the post from facebook, deleted a photo from my word press post and replaced it with a new one. However when I shared the updated post on face book, it still showed the original photo. I have tried clearing the cache. Can you help?

  Hi there!

  Would try entering the URL to your post in Facebook’s object debugger tool here?

  https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/

  Then click “fetch new scrape information.”

  Facebook should then reset any previous information it had for that post’s URL and instead grab the new photo. This would affect all future shares of that post.

  If that does not work, please let me know and provide the URL for the post in question.
