Deleted pictures still vivible on google images

    For more context, I deleted some pictures from my media and the page they were on but still when i search my website, these pictures are still visible.

    I have made my entire site private, have made individual pages private but neither seem to help keep the pictures off of google images nor does deleting the pictures completely.

    Any help regarding this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

    Hi there, Deleting content from your site won’t remove it immediately from Google or other search engines. You can try to contact Google directly through this support guide https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7041154?hl=en but WordPress.com has no control over Google or other search engines.

    If you’ve made your site Private, it may take a few weeks before Google and other search engines recrawl your site. Again, WordPress.com has no control over that.

    Hi Jennifer,

    This does help alot I shall just wait for max a month to see if the posts go from google and if not, I shall follow the process in the link you have attatched.
