  I published a post and now it’s miraculously gone – not in my trash or anything…None of the drafts (which I repeatedly saved) are showing up either… What happened? Does this happen a lot with wordpress?

  Yes, it happens with the new beep Beep Boop editor. Use the classic editor instead https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/blog-post-published-blank?replies=11
