Deleted Post-Lost writing!

  Why did my post get deleted when I clicked update?

  I wrote a post over a week ago and decided I wanted to go in and change something, but when I hit update it deleted everything!! Is this something I need to watch out for? I guess should probably save my posts on a separate word document.

  Please let me know if it can be recovered and what I should expect in the future. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  Issues like this can sometimes occur if you have multiple posts open in separate tabs or windows (or even if you have a post open in the iOS or Android app). The autosave feature will overwrite itself on to a different post and when you click “Update,” the contents from the other post gets mixed in, so the content gets lost.

  If you think you might have had another post open, you might want to go through the autosave versions of that post and see if they’re there. Frequently you can find them mixed in and can save your post. If not, then sadly your post is gone.
