  Okay I’m taking deep breaths now… trying to stop myself from quitting my WordPresss blog altogether. I’m sure there must be a logical explanation…
  Just signed up for my new WordPress account and wanted to edit the ‘Hello World!’ post. Spent a considerable amount of time and thought constructing my first post and then I updated. Then I tried to log on using the app on my iphone. The original default post was showing instead. Logged in on computer to find my on-screen account had done to same. Still calm at this point, just repeated the process… but then the same thing happened again!!! Please help!!!

  Have you tried emptying your cache and deleting your cookies?

  Yeah… After posting my cry for help onto forums, I decided to delete the original message and rewrite as a new post rather than just editing. It seems to have worked…
  Thanks for investigating.
  But for future reference, I take it cache and cookies are types of biscuits?

  Whenever you experience difficulties the standard practice it to log out, clear your browser cache and cookies and log-in again. This frequently clears up problems. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
