Deleted posts in stats?

  • Unknown's avatar

A few months ago I completely changed my blog up and deleted over fifty/sixty posts. They never showed up in my ‘All Time Stats’ option until today. They just come up as random numbers like 378 and 267, which link back to my homepage if I click them. Is there any way to make them go away?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If I were you, I’d report this to staff. Sounds like something they need to know about. Use your Dashboard Help button.

Thanks raincoaster, I sent them a message just now.

They should show up in the stats though even if they have been deleted since they are part of the stats history. If staff deletes them, then they would have to also delete all the hits and such associated with them (since they are in the stats database tied together) and if those posts got a lot of hits, your stats could drop in half or more.

why would the staff delete one’s posts ?.

If you delete them from your blog, and then staff were to delete them from your stats, the hits associated with those deleted posts would be taken away. Deleted posts have to stay in the stats database. Now it could be that staff was “hiding” the deleted posts in the stats pages before now and they fixed something or made a change and now those 50/60 posts the OP deleted are now showing up in the list.
