Deleted posts? (Shown in 'Top Posts & Pages' function)

  Hi,

  I checked my top posts/pages tonight, and there were several ‘pages/posts’ that were titled #172, #106, etc. with one view each – I never named any of my posts/pages that. They each included (deleted) in the name. I clicked on them and the posts/pages all came up with an error message that they’d been deleted already.

  I hope this makes sense; I’m having difficulty trying to understand what’s going on!

  I just looked at your site and you have one Top Post – so it looks like things have cleaned themselves up – you might have a local cache issue – try forcing a page reload on your browser –

  The Most recent Posts has a sort of running total – it looks like your site is low traffic so only one view would have been enough to put a Post in the most recent viewed list –

  I actually checked out my all time most viewed posts/pages; this is where the deleted posts/pages are showing up.

  Those numbers are the post/page IDs. You don’t name your posts/pages like that, but all of them have an ID number. For example, the ID of your post “Forged in the Fire” is 294 (you can see that if you go to Posts > All Posts, hover over the post tile and check the status/progress bar of your browser). And deleted posts/pages in the all-time top stats display by ID number instead of title.

  Then assuming that those posts were ones you moved to the trash (or otherwise deleted) yourself, I’ll remove the modlook.
  If you didn’t delete them and they have disappeared for some mysterious reason, then you can put the modlook tag back.
