  i deleted my previous blog and transferred the contents to a new site. I want the old one back terribly.
  it was http://www.achalugowrites.wordpress.com I moved to http://www.thefemalemasculinist.wordpress.com. I really need the old one back and didn’t understand the implications as I deleted

  Hi,

  Did you confirm all the steps prior to deletion ? If so, no you can’t bring back the old address. It is written at least 2 times that it is a permanent procedure. Sorry.

  The deleted blog URL will not become available again. I’m sorry but you cannot recover or register any deleted blog URL. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
