Deleted Site

Hi- I created two completely different blog sites under one profile name and later discovered I needed to create the one blog under a new totally different profile. So I exported the site data and deleted it completely…I saw the notification that I would never be able to recover the original site address again- but I thought I would be able to get the same address under the new profile name- so far that doesn’t seem to be the case… Can anyone help me? I really need that exact URL just under a different profile name…Thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No we cannot help you. Once any WordPress.COM blog URL has been deleted it is gone forever. That is why there are multiple warnings prior to even being able to delete it.

Sorry but you cannot register any deleted blog URL under any account period. To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and it must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click. Once the verification link for deletion is clicked the blog URL is forever gone, gone, gone.

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
