deleted site
-
hi I deleted my site georgialuckman.wordpress.com a while ago and completely remade to georgialuckmanillustrationblog.wordpress.com. I sent my details for a publication recently and it contained my old url on it. I can’t access the site or take on the old url to set up a redirect link to the new blog. Is it possible to do this?

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

I understand all this but that doesn’t solve my issue.
I need a redirect notice on the old deleted blog site, to send viewers to my new current blog.
Please can you direct me how to do this, many other blogging websites have this option. -
The deleted site no longer exists and one cannot purchase site redirect from a deleted site URL to another URL.
