deleted site
-
hello, I’m trying to start a new blog site, i made a spelling mistake in the username, and managed to fix it, but before doing so deleted the old (misspelled) site. And now i cant seem to create a new site using the new user name/address. the correct address I’m trying to use is weekendadventurewarrior.wordpress.com
I will eventually register domains and link them up, but was hoping to get started on the free account. -
https://weekendadventurewarrior.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.
The relevant wordpress.COM support doc is found at http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/.
Sites already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts. Do you see a deleted site https://deletedexample1234.wordpress.com/ with an address you would like to have? You can try registering a new site with that address here. http://wordpress.com/start If it is available, it will be yours.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated there.
You can register another .wordpress.com URL and then purchase an upgrade plan so you can map to an existing domain.
Register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Purchase a domain mapping upgrade knowing it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
