DELETED SITE AN EMBARRASSMENT
-
I DELETED THIS SITE lifesupportcaribbeanttorg.wordpress.com WHEN I DID A SEARCH IT IS STILL APPEARING ON THE INTERNET WITH A SILLY MESSAGE SAYING THE AUTHORS REMOVED THE SITE. I WANT IT PERMANENTLY DELETED SO IT DOES NOT CONFLICT WITH MY NEW SITE.
-
Please do not SHOUT! at those who are here to help. It’s rude and annoying and can make us choose answer another thread instead.
That’s not possible.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blog content or blogs does not remove any indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. We have no control over this and the URL removal tool cannot be used in cases like this one. http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1269119

I AM UNABLE TO LOG BACK INTO lifesupportcaribbeanttorg.wordpress.com SO CAN STAFF DELETED THE SITE PERMANENTLY SO IT DOES NOT APPEAR ON THE INTERNET TO REPRESENT MY BUSINESS NAME.
-
Please disable the cap locks key and stop SHOUTING! Read what I posted above please. We cannot help you with this.
-
Oh, sorry, just wanted it to stand out clear, wasn’t thinking. Anyway, I am not sure if the community can help though because I can’t get back into the account to follow any advice given. I think I really need word press staff help so they can just do it from their end.
-
That caps really annoyed you boy! To my eyes it just looks highlighted. Anyway, sorry if it offended you. Can anyone tell me how to get word press attention to assist me?
-
What’s strange is that I never did publish. I was trying out a template. So I am actually surprised to see it appearing in a search.
-
Staff will tell you exactly the same thing I told you. I know that because I have been here answering questions for years longer than most Staff have been on Staff. We cannot help with any search engine issues > http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/
More to the point, if Staff are to do this for you then there’s’ no doubt about it, I would be at the head of a very, very long lineup of bloggers who want the same service. -
Should I attempt to reactivate the account and redo the process of deleting permanently then?
-
They can’t permanently delete something on their sub domain? Or go into the account with a temporary pass and delete it permanently? Sigh…
-
lifesupportcaribbeanttorg.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.
You are talking about a single page on Google search results that will will be driven down the SERPs by you publishing frequently on the new site. I doubt that you can recover the deleted blog but here’s the link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
-
What i am seeing is the settings page with Account options: then username ; email address ; web address and on the right panel I am seeing – password, security, public profile etc.
-
-
hmm well I got back in, and I am seeing Dashboard “what’s hot”, Profile-update profile and personal settings. Not seeing any option to delete permanently.
-
Deleting the blog URL will end you up with the same result as before. You could try changing the blog visibility setting to private instead. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

I am a bit upset with wordpress because I never published their site and I don’t want my business name associated with their domain. I have a right to be able to have them correct it.
I have my own domain name so if I wanted to publish I would have redirected to my domain with their template and publish. They have to take some responsibility for the site appearing online when I was just trying their template. -
And you could have had a blog name like “stupidtest33333.wordpress.com” to test the theme and avoided all of this – or not deleted the blog and put a note that you have moved to wherever with a click on link to the new address
-
I never published their site and I don’t want my business name associated with their domain.
You did publish. See here from Google’s cache
-
I did not publish. Therein lies the problem. You are giving wordpress the benefit of the doubt. I don’t have to, I know what I did. I have just completed a site, with my own domain name and published it so I think if nothing else I would know how to publish the site. I did not publish and they need to correct it.
Anyway as you said you are unable to assist. Thanks. Good day.
