Deleted site and (free) domain, now want to start domain again

    Hi, a couple of days ago I decided to start blogging via a domainname.wordpress.com. After a while, I thought I did something wrong, so I decided to temporarily delete the site again so I could start all over again later on. Later on = today. And now I cannot choose this same domainname any longer. That’s such a pity! Is there any solution for this? Could WordPress push a ‘release button’ for this domain, so I could claim it for the second time?

    Hi there,

    Once a free URL is deleted, it is gone forever and it cannot be registered again, as stated in the warning on the page where you had to confirm the deletion.
