Deleted site, but it is still there
-
I must have had 2 site names, or an alias or something. I want to delete site ‘A’. Every time I went to site ‘A’ though I’d see site/name/URL ‘B’. I deleted site B and site A still exists. When I go to site A now and click on ‘My Site’ I get message that I don’t have any site. But site A is still there. How can I delete site A?

Hi, I just see one site on this account. Is that the one you want to keep, or is the one you want under another username?
Also, if you’re struggling to select the right site, try clicking Switch Sites and choosing the site there.
Or you can go directly to https://wordpress.com/settings/general/examplesite.com so long as you’re logged into the correct account.

Thanks, Supernovia, but I don’t understand what you are seeing when you say you just see one site on this account.
I remember seeing Switch Sites in the past but can’t find it now.
I would like to delete: https://garycoon.wordpress.com/ (aka A).
Which includes:
-> https://garycoon.wordpress.com/about/links/
-> https://garycoon.wordpress.com/about/experience/
-> https://garycoon.wordpress.com/about/me/Yesterday I removed: https://tastentrip.wordpress.com/ (aka B).
Yesterday I also set up a new site: garycoon257751857.wordpress.com. Which is only for testing so I can figure out how to delete https://garycoon.wordpress.com.
Going directly to https://wordpress.com/settings/general/examplesite.com takes me to garycoon257751857.wordpress.com, which is only for testing, and I can’t switch sites or find https://garycoon.wordpress.com.
In summary, I would like to delete them all. I am certain I can delete garycoon257751857 just like I did for tastentrip. How do I delete garycoon.wordpress.com?

https://garycoon.wordpress.com belongs to a different WordPress.com account, not the one you’re currently logged in under.
If you do not recall the password for the correct account, we have a few options for you at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
