Deleted site is still being found by search engines

  Why do posts which were deleted months ago are still being found by search engines like Google? After I have totally deleted my wordpress blog it is also still being found by them. Can this problem be solved?

  Hi. Even though your site was deleted, search engines maintain data for a very long time. Eventually they will drop you from a search, but you can try to speed it up by going to https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals
