Deleted site question
-
I accidentally deleted my site (leahvoskuil.wordpress.com) and have since moved on to a different domain because I read that once a site is deleted it cannot be retrieved. Is this correct? If not, how do I get my domain back? If it is true that the domain cannot be retrieved, how do I make it so this URL does not show up when people google my name? Currently, because my last name is so unique, the now non-existent wordpress site shows up right at the top of the search. So, in summary, can I get my domain back or is it truly gone into the depths of cyberspace to never be returned again? If I cannot get it back, how can I remove the null website from being searchable/showing up when people are trying to find my professional contact information? Thank you in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting public blogs and/or blog content from them or making sites private does not remove indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results after it produces a 404 (page not found):

Sorry. That is not possible. You ignored all the warnings and deleted the site https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/, rather than emptying it https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/ or transferring the blog to another username account http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
Deleting a blog URL is not easily done and multiple warnings that deletion is intended to be permanent and non-reversible are given all along the way. An email with a link in it that must be clicked to delete the site is sent and if clicked the URL is gone.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
