Deleted site redirects to a porn site

    I had a domain name and then deleted it. Someone claimed it and now directs to a Russian porn website. How do I fix it?

    Hi there,

    You would have to reach out to the person who purchased the domain and see if they’re willing to sell it to you. Otherwise, I would recommend purchasing a different custom domain for your site. They will most likely ask for an unreasonable price from you. I would check to see if something like obsidianpalms.org is available.

    http://www.obsidianpalms.com is now hosted with Namecheap, and it says that it expires on 1/7/25. At worst, I would check back around that time and see if the current owner has not renewed it. If they don’t, you can reclaim it at that time. Otherwise, using another custom domain may be the best bet at this point.
