Deleted Site Retrieval

    Hi, I created sapphiregazing.wordpress.com last year. I deleted it and changed it to sapphiregaze.wordpress.com but now I want my old URL back. Is there any way I can get it back? I haven’t posted anything on both sites yet. I can forward my activation emails to prove ownership if you need them. Thank you very much!

    Hi there!

    It’s not possible to reuse the old address after changing the site address. We mention this in a warning before confirming the site change that the old address will no longer be available.

    You can consider registering a new domain with a WordPress.com plan. That way, your visitors will see your custom domain, not the WordPress.com address. Feel free to check out the WordPress.com plans below and follow the guide here to register a custom domain. (Pro tip: If you choose a yearly plan, your first year’s domain registration will be free of cost.)
