Deleted site still indexing in Google

  Hi, I deleted my blog laurafday.wordpress.com some weeks ago as I now have a WordPress.org hosted website and new domain. I want this old WordPress.com site to stop being indexed, but it still shows up in Google searches.

  To delete pages and files from Google search results and cache, please follow these steps.

  1. Set up Google Webmaster Tools with your blog.

  2. Request removal of contents by following these instructions.
