deleted sites
-
There are a number of page names (ie [something].wordpress.com) that have been deleted or have not been used for a number of years (even 10years!) and this is preventing me from making use of the name, instead of it being wasted.
It is also a problem because use of the .wordpress.com name means that I am unable to rent a domain name (ie .com).
How can I create a page using a name that has been unused or deleted and so bring the page back to life?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
The policy of WordPress.com is that once a blog/URL is deleted, it can’t be used again ever, not even by its original owner.
You now have two options. Either register a new (but available) .wordpress.com subdomain, or, buy a similar .com domain.
It is also a problem because use of the .wordpress.com name means that I am unable to rent a domain name (ie .com).
You actually can buy a .com domain and point it to .wordpress.com blog. That way, .wordpress.com part will be hidden and you can use any available name that you want.
