I’m not sure I know what you are asking.
Do you mean the URLs that autocomplete when you start typing in your browser’s address bar? You might try clearing your browser’s cache.

Hi rootjosh,
I was in a wordpress class and set up two wordpress.com sites: https://katewilson2014.wordpress.com/ and https://ivyroaddesign.wordpress.com/.
I am now running my own site at http://ivyroaddesign.com and when you type in either ivy road design or ivyroaddesign, these show up. I tried to delete them and only was able to delete the second one listed. Can you strip these? -Is that the correct term? I just do not want a client going to one of these and missing out on connecting to me.
I really appreciate your help!
Thank you.

Can I just cancel my wordpress.com account to make them disappear? How do I do this?
Thank you!!!

You’ve already deleted the 2 websites you mentioned earlier. If you want to get them out of your web browser’s address bar, you could try deleting your browser’s cookies and cache.
If the issue is that these sites show up in Google or other search engine returns, then you’ll need to be patient while they re-crawl your site to find them deleted. WordPressdotcom cannot speed up this process.
Regardless, it is not possible to cancel or delete an account. You can follow the suggestions in this Support document to lock down your account and walk away if you choose. https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
The only thing you may want to consider is that if you end up installing the jetpack plugin on your self-hosted WP site, you’ll need to open a new WordPressdotcom account for it.
