Deleted username and domain that I would like to retrieve

  Hi there.

  I previously created a site: https://wherrerashegoes.wordpress.com/
  but have deleted it as I was just getting started with my blog and unsure about my account names and titles. I would like to retrieve it but it says the username and site name is already taken. Is there any possible way to reuse it since nobody is using it?

  Hi there,

  Deleting a site on WordPress.com is permanent. In some cases an address can be re-used after two years, but that is not guaranteed. https://wherrerashegoes.wordpress.com/ was deleted in September 2016, so can no longer be restored and it’s also not eligible for recycling.

  A username that was deleted as part of a username change also cannot be restored or re-used. However, if you deleted a username as part of our account closure process it might still be able to reverse this. Can you please confirm the username that you wish to restore?

  Also note that we can only restore a closed account if the request comes from the email address that used to be associated with that account, so if this is the case please reply to the email you received to confirm the account closure instead.
