Deleted Users Still Receiving Email Updates

  I deleted two users from my blog, making sure that they are deleted both from viewers and from email followers. However, (email visible only to moderators and staff), who had been an email subscriber, is still receiving email updates with the text of my posts. This is a huge issue as the content contains sensitive information, and the users were removed because they are no longer permitted to view any content from my blog. This has caused a difficult conflict for me, and if I were a business running a blog, it could mean financial ramifications. Please resolve.
