Deleted website but it's still active?

    Hi,

    I just deleted my website but I can still search for it online with all of it’s content.
    Help.

    Hey riekoe35,

    Every website gets indexed by Google and Google creates the cache for it. It will take a few days to completely remove the website.

    Once Google checks that it’s not live anymore, it will flush the cache and you won’t see it anymore.

    Just a correction, it can take several weeks for Google to remove a site from its cache, not a few days. And there are some other search engines that never clear their caches.

    To have your site removed from a particular search engine you’ll need to contact that search engine directly.
