deleted website now showing as wordpress blog – please delete

  Hi! Sorry I didn’t see related resolution. I deleted this website a few years ago and it’s showing up as a wordpress blog now. How can I delete this? http://heartyupdotcom.wordpress.com/ Thanks! ((email visible only to moderators and staff))

  Hi there. To delete a blog you have to be logged in under the exact same username which created that blog. Make sure you are on that blog’s dashboard and click on Tools ->Delete Site. You should also be able to delete it from the My Blogs page on the dashboard. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Please note that this is permanent and once you click the link in the confirmation email there will be no way to reverse it and the address will also be gone forever. Also be aware that cached copies of the blog may still be visible on search engines for several weeks after deleting the site. Consider just setting the blog to private instead: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
