removed /wordpress from URL and site is lost
I broke it. I removed the /wordpress from the end of my URL (site is loaded on server but not live yet, still doing work prior to replacing our old URL with this one) and it vanished… I really was just messing around (apparently not a good idea). Now WP won’t recognize my login

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To be clear we provide support only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs like http://trinitysjtest.wordpress.com/
http://trinitysj.com/wordpress/ is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. It’s a WordPress.org install and you are posting to the wrong support forum.
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

THank you – I didn’t realize that. We set up the test site and then changed the name when we moved it to our server company that hosts the current site (that we hope to replace with this one!). So yes, I have registered at .org (as laurier1212). Should I post my issue there or are you now able to assist me?
Thank you either way

Issue fixed – we just reinstalled an earlier version and will re-edit. THAT’s a learning curve I hope not to have to climb again…
