Deleted wordpress site still showing up in google search

  Hi there! Recently i deleted my wordpress site called izzie white generalist (as i wanted to start a new one) – and unfortunately even though the site is deleted it continues to show up in the google search browser when i type in my name. I’m trying to start an online business selling art so was hoping to have a clean digital footprint. Any help greatly appreciated!

  I can see your site is deleted as it says

  izziewhite.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this site.

  However, WordPress.com has no control over search engine indexing. Google takes usually 4-6 weeks to update the indexing . Although, you can request Google to recrawl for speeding up the process using this link https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6065812?hl=en
