Deleteing myself as a contributor

  How can i delete myself as a contributor to a blog? For a class in college my professor made a wordpress and invited everyone to be contributors so we could post to the blog.

  Now that the class is over, i dont want that blog attached to my wordpress. I tried deleting it, i tried finding the user button, but because im a contributor i assume that the reason why i cant delete or view users is because i am just a contributor not an author or anything higher then that.

  So how can i get rid of myself as a contributor?
