deleting 7 year old wordpress.com blogs with no posts and no pages

I tried to buy a wordpress.com plan using a domain that I’ve owned for 12 years. Unfortunately, I setup a wordpress.com site using the name in 2009. It’s Kubrick, it has zero posts, zero pages, and only the default single comment. In other words it’s an internet spam site. Since I can’t remember the email address I used to create, WordPress.com support will not delete it citing a need to protect my identity from myself. In reality, wordpress.com might use sites like that to make themselves appear to be more dominant in cyberspace than they really are. In any case it’s unethical to leave it there. What can I do to encourage WordPress.com to change their policy on this? I’ve build many hundreds of wordpress.org sites since 2007 and I would like to use wordpress.com but I’m not going to be able to until this is resolved ethically. Thanks for all positive suggestions.
