    Link to your wordpress.COM blog?

Hi Vivian, yes i’m working in wordpress.COM

That wasn’t my question. We need a link to your blog to see what you are talking about. Is this your blog? http://marketingbymartamaganapps.wordpress.com/ It is a lot easier for volunteers in the forums if you link your username to your blog https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-make-your-name-link-to-your-blog?replies=54

Generally speaking, you cannot change the name from HOME to BLOG. It’s hard-coded into the theme.

And your title – deleting a blank page – how does that relate to your question? Your home page isn’t blank – you have a post up there called “BLOG”

    Hi Vivian,
Thanks for the link, I’ll make sure to link my username to my blog the next time I ask a question.
You answered my question “you cannot change the name from HOME to BLOG” I wasn’t aware it was hard coded into that theme. In your experience have you worked or come across a them on WordPress.COM that has a page that I can designate as the “BLOG” page?
Okay, yes, my title is confusing, need to get more specific in future.
    I do appreciate your help.

Let’s go back to the beginning. You are using the Pages widget to show your pages. Unlike a lot of themes, the pages widget is including the Home page in the widget itself. If you search the forums, you’ll find that the inclusion of the home page in the widget usually requires some additional tweaking, something I had to do on my own blog. Best thing for you to do is to view other themes.

I think, though, you are confusing a blog with a website. If you had a website that had multiple pages, including a blog page, I can see where having the page titled BLOG makes sense. But a blog is not a website. A blog itself has dynamic (as opposed to static) content. The home link on a blog makes sense in that it takes you back to the beginning of the blog.
