Deleting a blog

  Hi,

  I registered an account and set-up a blog, but then transferred it to a new username.

  I now have a blank blog associated with my ‘mevetts’ username and I want to delete this blog.

  I am also a contributor to another blog using this username.

  I went to delete the blog and received the confirmation email which said that both the blog AND the username will be deleted. Is this true, even if I am associated with another blog as a contributor?

  I would basiacally like to have my ‘mevetts’ username so I can contribute to other blogs, but not have my own blank blog anymore.

  Any help would be great.

  So long as your name is associated with a blog you are fine.
  Just delete the unwanted blog.

  And in the unlikely event something were to go wrong you tell me and I fix it :)

  Podz!!!

  Deleted the blog, but the whole account has gone I get the splash screen that says ‘This user has elected to delete their account and the content is no longer available’ when I try to login!

  Help!

  EDIT: no, don’t worry, all’s well. I cleared my cache and logged in from the homepage and everything’s ok. Sorry for the panic! ;)
