deleting a blog

Hello, I have ended up with two blogs with very similar names (one ending in ‘blog’ and a new one – the one I want to keep – in ‘site’) I want to delete the ‘blog’ but keep getting diverted to the new one. Also, because I didn’t know the difference between blogs and pages, I have an entry on google search for ‘about’ (also on ‘site’). How do I delete that?

Regarding the first question, you have to follow these steps for changing the name of a blog address: https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/
Regarding the second one, all pages and posts are public content (that is unless you specify the Privacy settings for specific posts/page. Check these links:

If you haven’t specified this by the time of publication, then it’s very likely that Google will pick it up in its indexing. And this is something WordPress.com can’t control. -
