Deleting a blog

I want to delete my blog as I’ve replaced it with another one. I can’t believe how hard the staff at wordpress.com makes it. There is no option to delete a blog, you need to contact wordpress. They’re out until the end of the month, and they don’t leave an email to leave a message for when they return. Hopefully someone at the company eventually receives this and contacts me — I’d appreciate it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Dashboard >> Tools >> Delete Site
No need to contact staff at all – be advised that once a name is deleted it is gone forever – we advise that you just set the blog to “Private” then use it if you want a test site for some reason – you can try new themes or looks or whatever. – and if you change your mind next month (happens all the time) – you can just set if back and go.

Well I had someone complaining about WordPress using the word “Dope!” after he made a post the other day and thought it was an offensive word.
So anything is possible.
