Deleting a blog

  I would like to delete two secondary blogs linked to mine. They were set up by my daughters and they aren’t using them any longer.

  If I delete the secondary blogs, will my main blog be deleted too? I wouldn’t like to lose it.

  Hi there,

  You can permanently delete your blogs individually by following this guide carefully:
  http://support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/

  This option is available at Tools -> Delete Site in your blogs’ dashboards.

  Instead of deleting a blog, note that you can also just hide it instead. No one will be able to access it, it won’t appear on Google and other search engines, and you can keep it hidden for as long you want. Hiding a blog is usually a better option than deleting it, because it’s easily reversible.

  You can do so by setting your blogs to private at Settings -> Privacy in their dashboards.
